Google's Tensor G6 chip, paired with the Titan M3 security coprocessor, enhances computational photography and on-device AI. The Pixel 11 series also introduces Magic Capture, Camera Looks, and full support for Gemini Intelligence, which can proactively surface information, draft messages, and handle routine tasks. However, the price increase across the board is a notable caveat.
The Pixel Watch 5, Google's smartwatch update, focuses on health tracking, including blood pressure and insulin resistance trends. Fitness improvements include a pre-workout Readiness Score, custom strength and HIIT circuits, real-time coaching cues, and dual-frequency GPS. Sleep tracking expands with a new Sleep Breathing Quality metric, and the Google Health Coach, powered by Gemini, provides adaptive fitness plans and ongoing feedback.
The event also introduced the Pixel Tag, a long-rumored item tracker that uses Ultra-Wideband and Bluetooth Channel Sounding for precise location data. It can be paired, named, and shared with up to 10 people, and it alerts users if an unfamiliar tag is detected. The Pixel Tag is priced at $29 individually or $99 for a four-pack, with a November 11 release date.
